Excellent site
Powered cement/asphalt campsite
Liked Great site within 20 minute walking distance of small market town of Ellesmere. Numerous places to eat in the town but we can recommend the Red Lion and the Boathouse Restaurant. Enjoyed walks around the Mere and along the canal.
Site owners friendly and it’s good to know that your vehicle is secure as the site has a gate with combination lock. Robin phoned the night before our visit to give us the gate code.
Toilet facilities very clean, showers hot (push button) and it was good to have a heated towel rail. There was also a hairdryer. The washing up sink was situated within the toilet block and had lovely views of the surrounding countryside. There was a little noise from the nearby A495 but this was not obtrusive.

10-amp powered grass campsite
Liked Very clean and peaceful site, owners were very welcoming, showers and toilets spotless.
Disliked Nothing to dislike at all about the site. The only thing that I can say was not much to see or do in Ellesmere itself. But the site was really good.
