What customers say
Highly recommended adult-only site for peace, cleanliness, and views. Spacious pitches, luxurious washrooms. Owners Robin & Jane are a highlight. Easy 15-min walk to Ellesmere town. Minor points: occasional road noise, some sloped/gravel pitches.

A lovely, relaxed site with great facilities.
16-amp powered grass campsite
Liked The owners, Robin and Jane, are lovely people and made us feel really welcome. The site is well maintained, with great facilities for everyone. We stayed on a grass pitch, which was huge, and had electric and water. The views were lovely.
Arrival was easy, Robin called ahead to give us the gate entry code and our pitch number, and then met us later to check everything was ok.
All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and will definitely be returning soon.

10-amp powered grass campsite
Liked We visited the site for a weekend with our daughter and son in law and were not disappointed. The site is clean, tidy and well maintained. The small but well stocked pond gave us a few hours of pleasure 😁 facilities are excellent, clean, heated and plenty of consumables. Lovely and quiet allowing us to relax and unwind in a beautiful part of the country. It’s a short and pleasant walk to Ellesmere allowing us to leave the cars and not have to worry about parking or missing anything!!

Liked Pitch 43. Excellent site with cracking facilities. Nice easy 15 minutes walk in Ellesmere centre which has plenty of shops and pubs. The mere is about 25 minutes walk away from site via the town centre. Excellent dog walking area.

Disliked nothing much, bottom field showers are on a press button that only lasts about 20 seconds, difficult when washing hair.

We had a fantastic stay at…
16-amp powered grass campsite
Liked We had a fantastic stay at this campsite. Everything was spotlessly clean and very well maintained, with spacious, level pitches and beautiful views all around. The site has a really peaceful atmosphere and is clearly looked after with care. The owners and staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, which made us feel right at home. Another big bonus was the location—it’s only about a 15-minute walk into the nearby town, making it easy to explore, grab something to eat, or pick up supplies without needing the car. We honestly couldn’t find anything to dislike and would definitely recommend this site to anyone looking for a relaxing caravan or camping break. We’ll certainly be back!

Definitely worth a visit, we will be back.
Powered cement/asphalt campsite
Liked Amazing views from field 3. Owners very friendly and kind. Shower and toilet facilities are luxury and the price is great.
Disliked The hardstand pitch was thick in soft stone so getting pegs in for awning was hard, had to scoop down to try and find more solid ground. The water / electricity point was rather far from the pitch, electric cable was long enough but hose wasn't.
