We always go to Kevindale when…
Primitive grass campsite
Liked We always go to Kevindale when there are very few people there so showers are invariably free (and clean) and often enough there are only a few others on site. It's easy going with few rules and regulations and no locked gates to cope with. There is a village shop within walking distance which sells the basics and newspapers which is useful. Also near the shop a field for the dog's first and last walks. We love South Shropshire with plenty of walking and fresh air. Jake sells his eggs to us - another bonus. We go to this site every year which speaks for itself really.

Lovely area, nice owners. Just need info of where to contact owner.
Primitive grass campsite
Liked The nice toilets and showers and the flat field was good for camping. Site owners very nice people.
Disliked It just felt a bit abandoned when l arrived. I didn’t know where to go or how to let anyone know l’d arrived. There are several houses on the site and an empty care home. Tried phoning/e-mailed but no answer. After an hour l walked down the track and decided to start knocking on doors. The lady who answered said l’d come to the right place and was very helpful. So just info about where to make contact with the person on the site would have been very useful. There were no other campers around so l couldn’t ask anyone else.
