What customers say
Spacious pitches and loads of activities for kids are a hit! Staff are friendly. But, folks mention toilet/shower facilities need a refresh and some power supply and amenity costs were noted.
Summary AI-generated from Pitchup.com customer reviews

Would stay again in spite of complaints, perhaps a different field.
Power optional grass campsite
Liked Activity programme for children was fab, staff were mostly very friendly and helpful. Huge site with loads to do and lots to explore. Large pitch.
Disliked Not much for under 5s, activity bands were £20 a day, with more than one child this could get quite expensive. Especially with different activities being on different days, you can't do them all in one day. Maybe a family discount or discount on multiple days would help. The toilet/shower block on our field was disgusting, other blocks weren't as bad. Other guests being loud and motorbikes roaring around the site at 11.30pm, contacted the site and nothing was done.

Primitive grass campsite
Liked Great site plenty of space to pitch a family size tent without being crowded. Some good amenities but some a little tired and dated. Great for fire pits and bbq. Value for money for camping and activities.
Disliked Could do with better toilet facilities in some areas of the site.

Great activities, big campsite lots of options.
Primitive grass campsite (no pets, wild)
Liked We chose a wild pitch it was perfect! I loved that you were about to choose where you wanted to go so you could choose to space out from other campers if you wanted to.
The activities on offer were so good, we will definitely be back.
Disliked No lights in the toilet block which made it more difficult at night. But just took torches/phone flashlights and it was all good.

Will definitely return but please invest in refurbing these toilets
Power optional grass campsite (large, no pets)
Liked The instructors are amazing, the activities are great and value for money.
Disliked The inaccuracies regarding ages to do the activities!
We were on field d so nearest toilets were next to the cub field, these toilets are disgusting and in severe need of refurbishing.
There’s so many missed opportunities like burger vans, bike hire etc.

Power optional grass campsite (large, no pets)
Liked There is a variety of fun activities on site. The shop is well stocked with lovely & very friendly people working there. The grounds are beautiful
Disliked The toilets don’t get cleaned regularly. There was no soap or toilet paper for almost 2 days. The toilets were filthy. The facilities are outdated and could do with a general freshen up. This situation would definitely put us off staying again.

Ok site but poor facilities, in need of a good clean and upgrade
Power optional grass campsite (large, no pets)
Liked Good size pitches with plenty of open space and the children liked the activities.
Disliked There are not enough toilet and shower blocks. We had a fair walk to get to our nearest one and once there, wish I hadn’t bothered. The blocks were so filthy and not fit for purpose for campers, there was no where to put was bags, etc and no stuff to clean down after yourself either. Really put me off. It

Power optional grass campsite (large, no pets)
Liked The size and surroundings of the campsite is lovely. The kids loved having the open space to explore and run around.
Didn’t get chance to use the outdoor pool as was only open 1.30-5.30pm and we were out all day which was a shame as the kids wanted to go in it in the morning.
Disliked The toilets and shower facilities were absolutely disgusting - did not see them get cleaned once.
Not enough toilets/showers for the amount of people staying there.
I was only there two nights but chose not to shower as they were that dirty!!
