What customers say
A clean, peaceful, and well-kept spot with large sites, perfect for families and dog owners. Guests loved the friendly owners, great amenities (hot showers, good WiFi), alpacas, and playground. Minor notes included occasional toilet/shower lines and wish for more dishwashing stations.

Excellent site with large pitches, friendly owners and country views
Powered grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Lovely site, owners Dean and Ali welcoming and friendly. Lent us an extension lead with no problem.
Travelled with grandchildren aged 8 & 5, who loved the play area and 'badger walk' (actually dog walking path around the site, via the alpaca field)
Quiet, large pitches.
Shower shacks quirky, but plenty of hot water
Disliked Water for dishwashing not very hot

Lovely site will be back.
Powered grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Lovely site it was quiet and the pitch size was good wasnt many there but didnt feel cramped in. will definatly be coming back next summer for longer. The site is well looked after and cared for. Our girls are 3 and 6 and they loved the park and alpacas.
Disliked The showers were tricky to use with young children nothing major as there a shower cubicle outside. Lovely feeling like you're showering outside but tricky with the kids.

Liked Love how peaceful the sight was and seeing alpacas was great. Site is lovely and clean. The staff was lovely and friendly as and fulfilled our requests too.
Plus kids loved the play park. And the little paths to walk around, kids loved exploring. Shower was hot love how it's set out. Love the washing facilities too.

Excellent site, very clean and fun. Lacking a little customer service
Powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Site was really clean, well laid out spacious pitches. Toilets and showers both really clean.
Our 2 year old loved the park and the alpacas.
Disliked Arrival was a little confusing, there was no reception and no signs telling us what to do. Asked another camper who told me to ring a number where a man answered and told me to park where I wanted.
Only paid a deposit in advance. The day we left I received a text message from the same number with account details requesting payment. The message appeared to have been forwarded from another conversation as it seemed to make little sense in isolation.

Perfect for all
Alpaca fields primitive grass tent campsite
Liked We loved staying here! We just loved everything about it the animals and facilities such as toilets, showers, communal fridge freezer, washing up station and the little shop. They had WiFi to offer which is great. It was well lit up at night. There was a great little track for dog walking and plenty of bins for dog waste.

Bell tent (basic)
Liked This is our 4th year visiting and really enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and space for kids to play. It is a well laid out camp site and very well kept and clean with flat pitches :)
Stayed in a bell tent this year and it was great!
Friendly owners and loads of options for things to do in the surrounding area.

A beautiful, well tended spacious site with great facilities.
Alpaca fields primitive grass tent campsite
Liked This is a lovely campsite, on a gentle slope, with low hedges placed at thoughtful intervals, and surrounded by taller hedges. Even though I arrived on a very windy day, and despite being in a part of the country that is flat and open, the site was sheltered. Beautiful toilets and showers with a pretty flower bed in front. There's a washing up sink and even a fridge with a small freezer, which was very welcome for refreezing ice blocks! All very well tended and cared for.
Disliked The swings need a bit of WD40 - they sound like someone is strangling a small animal!
