Liked Everything ! Little gem of a place total peace and tranquility but to be fair we were the only ones on site, Topcliffe village with a couple of pubs both with food within easy walking distance. I would recommend adhering to the 6m length as 4 of the 5 pitches parking is nose to tail so longer vehicles could possibly struggle to park between others as turning round to exit may also be awkward but for our 7.5mtr motorhome it wasn’t a problem being the only vehicle on site.
The owners responded politely and quickly by messaging if we needed any information.
Also the slow moving river is just a matter of a few yards away which also adds ambience to this small but beautiful site.
We would certainly return should we be visiting this area again.

Disliked Nothing

Liked Wonderful scenery. Clean pitches, good grass. Hear the birds and everything was out and obvious.

Disliked No really happy with everything and the price.

Liked Lovely quiet site with a lot of bird life. Very pleasant walk round the fishing lakes and through the trees. Pitches were well cut. We were the only caravan in the pitches

Disliked The facilities. The shower tray and toilet were dirty (not flushed) there was toilet paper torn on the floor and the floor was dirty. Considering we were the only people there and we were expected I feel that could have been sorted before we arrived. We cleaned it up ourselves with the mop that was there and our own anti bac wipes.
Once it was cleaned the shower had good hot water and there was plenty of space in the shower room. There’s only 2 showers & toilets so could be hectic when there’s more units on the site

Absolute bargain price to stay with electric was met by lovley polite gent on entry told us where everything was,
Freshly layed eggs 6 for £1 definitely stay again when travelling through 👍

Great value for money. Have already booked another stay & will be back maybe in a cabin next time

Disliked State of loos

Liked Nice and quiet site, friendly team checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. We had no issues but the toilet block needed a bit of a clean but not putting this in the disliked as at the end of the day it had a toilet and a really hot shower in it so did what it was meant to do!

Liked Completely on our own and pitched next to the toilet block.
Hot water.
Owner v helpful in pitching us up due to torrential rain earlier in the day.

Disliked Road to the site (not the access road) dangerous and scary.
Toilet block in desperate need of an upgrade, but the owner did say the site "wasn't really open yet".
