What customers say
This clean, well-kept campsite with friendly staff gets high marks for its great beach and amenity access. Guests liked the spacious sites and calm vibe. Facilities are clean but a bit dated and far from some spots. Minor bird droppings/noise noted, but highly recommended, with many planning return trips.

Lovely experience
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Clean shower / toilet block
Large pitch
Quiet at night
Short walk to the beach
Flat, smooth ground
Disliked Lots of geese, which is probably fine for most people but we have a reactive dog so it was tricky to get him to relax and they were quite loud early morning (4-5am)

Great location! We had our first camping…
Powered grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Great location!
We had our first camping trip here. The man at reception took us down to our pitch, and helped us with where to park and pitch up.
We didn’t find the showers and toilets to be too far away, like other posts suggest, only around the corner, and they were nice and clean.
We took 2 children and 2 dogs and honestly had the best time. Very child and family friendly, with a beautiful lake for fishing on site, that is fenced off to keep your little ones safe!
The beach is literally a 90 second walk away and if you walk along the beach you can reach fantasy island in 20 minutes.
Overall a wonderful stay in a fantastic location; we are already planning our return!
Disliked Would’ve liked WiFi for movies in the evenings

Great little site- would recommend
Powered grass travel trailer campsite
Liked The site was very well kept and the people there were friendly. It is a great little site and the toilet blocks are absolutely fine - clean and well maintained. It is a short walk to the local cafes, amusements etc and the beach is literally on the doorstep.
Disliked The only thing we could fault was that there wasn't anywhere to put your shower gel etc whilst in the shower. It could do with a little shelf.

Great location! Quality site!
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Easy to book, fantastic location, clean well kept site, pitches relatively spread out. Easy to book in using pitch up and on the day.
Disliked Toilet block is based with tourers and vans, this meant it was a bit of a walk from the tent pitches. It would be advantageous to have one in the tent area as well. This would’ve made it a 10 star review.
