What customers say
This peaceful, relaxing site earns consistent praise for friendly owners & super clean, modern facilities (especially new washrooms). Spacious spots & abundant wildlife are big pluses. Some find older facilities distant, pitches uneven, and dogs occasionally bark. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay.
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked The wild meadow field, very peaceful and quiet, calming views, adult only, very clean facilties, local walks.
Disliked We would have benefited from the grass being cut as there were patches of nettles throughout the field where you walk.
Mixer taps would work better as hot water was very hot.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked When I arrived I was immediately warmly greeted by one of the hosts, shown around the site and given a choice of where to park. A beautiful quiet setting with just the sounds of nature and birds and a little pond in the back field to enjoy. Place lives up to its name with the owls at night. Facilities were spotless, the scenery was perfect. I look forward to staying again in the future

Peaceful site with spacious pitches.
FHU grass campsite
Liked Lovely spacious pitches. The new toilet and shower block is fabulous! The owners are obviously investing in the site, even adding attractive fencing around the perimeters. We were grateful for the shade from the trees during the heatwave! Would definitely recommend and will be back!
Disliked Would prefer that electricity wasn’t metered, although it wasn’t overly expensive for our stay. Maybe a slightly longer hose on the chemical toilet disposal tap.

The hose on the chemical toilet disposal tap is a standard length set by Anglian Water so I'm afraid this can't be changed.
We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay and look forward to welcoming you back in the near future.
