What customers say

This is a clean, quiet, adults-only site, steps from a dog-friendly beach. Spacious, level pitches with great facilities. Owner is super friendly & helpful. Most guests report a peaceful stay, though some note occasional road noise. A few suggest more showers would be good.

Liked Lovely friendly owners, on arrival we had option to pick our pitch. Other guests very friendly. Toilet/showers clean & exceptable. Close to all thats on offer in the area via bus or walking. Pub just off site plus haven site pub & restaurants open to public with a shop for all basics etc. Adult only & very dog friendly with on site dog walks. Quick check in & out, very chilled relaxed site, no fancy frills just grass pitches & eu but worth every penny. Very friendly.

Disliked Nothing to repoert.

Liked Quiet, peaceful site.
Excellent toilet and shower facilities.
Alice is very welcoming and accommodating.
Short walk to the beach, via a lovely dog walking route.
Bar next to beach entrance is welcoming to dogs, so you don’t have to leave them on their own whilst you get a pint or two.
Definitely the kind of site you’d recommend to others looking for a peaceful getaway.

Disliked Due to declining health, I used disabled shower. Unfortunately there isn’t any hooks or rails to hand clothes and towels.
This resulted in wet clothing and walking back to our van in just my towels.

Liked Great sized pitches, choose your own on arrival.
Adult only site, so lovely & quiet / peaceful
Clean facilities, one shower, but only 15 pitches so perfect for the size of the park.
Great dog walk, which took you around the outside of the static vans, to start of the beach path, which is then 5-10 min walk to a dog friendly beach.

Liked Small adult only site, quite dispite being next to a road. Close walk to beach and bus terminal.
Toilets were very clean and well kept.

Disliked Left a day early as someone arrived with 3very large dogs 2 rottweilers and 1 that looked like an XL bully type dog. They were barking constantly when arriving and made us all feel uneasy and feared for our small timid dog. So we left a day early

Local attractions

The sandy beach a hop and a skip away from Swallow Park Caravan Site will definitely be the main attraction; don’t leave without a meander along the pretty trails in the Saltfleetby/Theddlethrope Dunes nature reserve, where the marshes and dunes are filled with wildflowers, wading birds, butterflies and natterjack toads. Mablethorpe is small, but has plenty to help you while away a day or two: riding the sand train along the beach, for starters, or admiring the doe-eyed beauties at the seal sanctuary, which also has resident badgers, barn owls and kestrels. You can take in the shops and cafés at Spanish City, enjoy fairground rides, amusement arcades and a model railway, or take in the lively events schedule including the Bathing Beauties festival, illuminations, an annual show, and regular motorbike racing on the beach. Drive north to Cleethorpes or south to Skegness for more seaside fun and games.
