What customers say
Lovely riverside spot on the Wye, great for nature & peace. Friendly owner, spacious pitches, good for canoeing/SUP. Basic facilities (portaloos, few showers) suit some, but others found them lacking.

Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked The owner was very kind and friendly - on arrival I was not very well and he even offered to put our tent up for us! The location seems to be excellent, however I can't comment further as we decided not to stay due to being unwell.
Disliked Nothing wrong with the site as far as I can tell, however PitchUp has an error in their listing. It says the site has showers available but doesn't mention that they are only for glamping. Had we stayed, this would have been a disappointment as it was one of the reasons we chose the site rather than others in the area. I don't think it's an error on the campsite's part - I think PitchUp needs to be clearer in how they display site-facilities!

For nature lovers
Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Beautiful site with access to river Wye. Orchards on two side. A hare was running across the field when we arrived. A lovely little village to walk through with dog. Basic with just poratble loos and washing up sink but suits us fine. Friendly owner. Been before and will be going again.

Beautiful location right by the river.
Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Right next to the river, very peaceful, clean and plentiful toilets, easy walk to great pub - proper local beer from the barrel.
Could bring canoe or SUP and launch from the site.
Easy access to Hay on Wye and lots of other places to visit.
Chatty and knowledgeable farmer as owner.

Bell tent
Liked Everything. Location was fantastic. The access to water and surrounding area is well worth a stay here for. The site it’s self was amazing, you can see the site has had a lot of thought put into it. The glamping pods were beyond stunning and provided everything, plus some you could probably need. It was clean, tidy and just made you feel comfortable. The owner Philip is absolutely lovely. He’s clearly passionate about what he does and spends a lot of time looking after the site as well as his guests.
We will 100% be returning here.

Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Great location, it has two different pitch areas to choose from either the river or a field, both are lovely within their own right. Felt like stepping back in time. Very blissful despite it being busy, was lovely

Superb site, basic but serene
Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Beautiful site right on the river which was easy to get in and out of even with the canoe. Farmer was super helpful popping by to check everything was OK and drop off wood. Only a short mile walk to the pub which was a delightful place with good range on tap. Food looked delicious although we didn't eat but next time we come we will!
Disliked Portaloos although clean and well stocked when we arrived soon got a bit ripe by the end of the weekend!
Would be nice to have access to the showers on site as no-one was in the glamping field
