Liked It being on a bus route.
Disliked Toilets and showers were not clean and in need of repair in places. Staff did not inform us of where things were such as chemical disposal, waste water etc. Residents used camping pitches as dog walk and did not pick up dog mess.
Worst campsite in over 20 years of camping

Liked The location
Disliked Worst campsite I've been to in over 20 years of camping.
When you first arrive, the site looks charming and well-kept — but unfortunately, that illusion disappears quickly. Our pitch was filthy: scattered with bottle tops, broken toys, rusty cans, tissue paper, broken chairs and plastic bags. We had to litter pick the area ourselves before we could even set up our tent. Not what you expect from a paid site.
The toilet facilities were simply unacceptable. It looked like they hadn't been cleaned in weeks and 90% of the time without toilet paper but the main issue was that the toilets didn’t lock. There are 2 ladies toilets and one disabled and only one of them locked - there's like 45 pitches or something, one toilet isn't enough. Having to use a filthy, non-lockable toilet with no privacy was incredibly uncomfortable and stressful — a basic level of dignity and security was completely missing. This aspect alone made the stay feel unmanageable.
Bins were never emptied and smelt horrendous, right outside the toilet block.
I contacted the site several times across two days — via phone and message — and received no reply. My concerns were completely ignored, and nothing changed, not friendly at all. I felt like an inconvenience asking for toilet roll. We ended up cutting our stay short because the conditions were just not liveable.
It’s deeply disappointing to pay good money and receive this level of neglect. It saddens me to see a campsite filled with litter, I've never come across this is over 20 years of camping. You can tell this litter has been there months, the cans were rusty and the plastic was starting to break down. It's sad as there were a few bunnies there and lots of birds so this is a danger to them. Until major improvements are made, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere
Would not consider staying again. No way good value for money.

Liked General layout of the site
Disliked Untidiness around the site.
All facilities (showers/toilets) were unclean with no toilet paper and in two of the separate shower rooms no hot water in the sinks. It was obvious that no attempt had been made to clean the facilities on a regular basis, and the amount of facilities with the size of the site were very insufficient.
Very noisy in some areas of the site with loud music and shouting until very late with no consideration of other users or monitoring of activity by the owners.
Overall lack of attention to cleaning of facilities and the grounds.
was fine. no complaints at all really

Liked we were a small group and we had a field to ourselves thanks to the owners/managers, weren't rushed to leave
Disliked showers and toilets could do with updating
Convenient for visiting Gloucester
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Easy access to Gloucester, quiet site, good communication, met by friendly staff, facilities well planned and made.
Disliked The site had litter- old chairs, food wrappers, cans etc. The toilets had no paper and were not clean.
Good location, unfortunately let down by poorly serviced ablutions.

Liked The camping field was level plenty of electric hook up points and close to facilities. The staff on site were friendly, good location for exploring the Cotswolds.
Disliked Ablutions were not cleaned on a daily basis and by the end of the week were in a poor state, and had to ask on more than occasion for loo roll to be replenished. I feel that the camping here is not the main priority for the owners and the focus seems to be the park homes.
Perfect spot for where I wanted to be. Facilities average but clean…

Liked Friendly staff
Good location
Grass pitches
Disliked Hard standing Pitches not clearly marked, had some rubbish on them and some pitches were in bizarre places.
Shower and toilets are basic
Could be better
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Friendly welcome. Handy for bus into Gloucester. Nice to be able to choose our pitch, although our options were restricted by low trees.
Disliked The site looks very promising, but it's let down by a few things. The facilities could do with an upgrade. There were dodgy locks on doors, and there was no toilet paper. No cleaning appeared to be done while we were there (2days)...the toilets were in the same mess. Only 1 shower had a seat.
The pebbles throughout were noisy and difficult to walk, bike or push a pushchair on.
Static caravan residents use the camping area as a dogwalking area.
Vacating by 10am is a little mean.
Enjoyed our stay overall
