Liked: Pitches have Soooooo much space - especially the hard standing ones which have a large grass area at the back and is tree lined. We had a little robin visit us aswell which was lovely!!
Food - totally amazing. The chef produced 5* food - and plenty of it. He was fantastic.
Excellent choice of cider and lager.
All of the staff were so friendly!!
Showers and toilets clean and tidy.

Liked: Site very clean well looked after . Shower .toilets clean and water nice and hot . Pub was good with excellent food .
Disliked: Was noisy cutting trees down all day and large bonfire smoke was very bad and ash covered the car and tent .. Had to use site hosepipe to wash tent and car to remove the ash . We complained and were offered a discount in the pub on food but unfortunately it was given to someone else.

From the manager: Thanks for your review, we are sorry that our site maintenance interrupted your stay, it is difficult to pick the best time to complete tasks and we were very much at the mercy of contractors carrying out the work.

Liked: How quiet it was. The food in the pub was excellent.
Disliked: A bit to isolated for us. Nowhere to walk to safely.
Only 2 male and 2 female toilets with 1 shower each, which wasn't a problem for us but imagine it could be when busy

Liked: Excellent site. Easy to find, plenty of space. The staff in the pub were fantastic and welcoming but also went the extra mile when my daughter lost an item. They were very kind and we will definitely use The Hunters Inn again, whether it be for camping or some food.

Liked: Campsite was well kept overall and very convenient having a pub on our doorstep. We ate in the pub and the food was excellent. Decent sized pitches.
Disliked: As per other reviews the toilet and shower facilities are pretty poor and we wouldn’t go back because of that.
