Disliked Our pitch was quite sloping. I’m not sure if we had to pay a excess as we only stayed 1 night but it was very expensive

Powered grass campsite
Liked Easy access to walks in the woods, walkable distance from village with pubs and shops. Fun to see the onsite donkey and goats. Excellent cafe on site which also sells basic supplies. Clean and spacious toilets and showers.
Disliked Can feel a little crowded at busy times. Sensor controlled lights in shower block may plunge you into darkness mid shower. Motorhome waste disposal drain was too high for us to drive over so we couldn't use it. Intermittent wi-fi.

It’s not worth the money I paid
Powered grass campsite
Liked Clean facilities.
Disliked I stayed for two nights. I was the only guest in the whole place, and even though it was completely empty, they gave me the pitch furthest from the toilet and shower and the noisiest one. As it’s right by the roadside, the traffic noise is a nuisance both day and night. Earplugs are a must at night. There’s no mobile signal at all. Wi-Fi is essential.

Liked Enough pitches - had to change to a hard standing because of the weather. Staff friendly and helpful. Facilities clean and tidy. Fanstastic onsite cafe - which was convenient if you do not want to cook.
