What customers say
This campsite is a great base for exploring the Cotswolds, with many reviewers loving the lovely views and quiet vibe. Facilities are generally clean and tidy, especially the showers. Guests appreciate the roomy sites, family atmosphere, and being close to Stow-on-the-Wold. A few minor points: some pitches are a bit sloped, and bin emptying and toilet paper can be inconsistent.

Disliked When we booked on pitch-up there were no ehu pitches available, only grass.
When we arrived there were a lot of ehu pitches free and When we enquired in the rugby club we're told there were ehu spaces and to pick whichever one we wanted, just had to pay the extra £4. This misinformation almost put us off going there.
Showers needed a good clean

Disliked The sloped ground. We were on a hard standing pitch and still struggled to get level

Good weekend but could have been better without misleading club info
Primitive grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Toilets & Showers very clean and well lit.
Good vibe in the bar following the match.
Short walk into Stow-on-the-wold town and lovely shops, bars, cafes etc.
Disliked Before booking researched on site facilities and saw the club house looked very good.
However, Friday evening closed. Saturday rugby match on so clubhouse open. Staff very quite abrupt when asked if food was being sold. Was told that only the players were catered for and if anything was left over it would be sold to the customers in the bar.
