What customers say
Elmwicke Campsite is a top pick! Immaculately clean facilities, helpful owners Ruth and John, and spacious pitches. Enjoy the on-site cafe, tractor rides, and ample space for kids. Some distant motorway noise, but overall a relaxing, well-kept site that guests highly recommend.

Liked Quiet & scenic site. We had a veory restful stay
Disliked More attention to the cleanliness of the washing up area & toilets needed. Had lots of dead insects on shelves & full waste bins/empty soap dispensers. Shame because other visitors have previously praised the cleanliness.

Primitive grass campsite
Liked Lovely campsite. Very clean showers/ toilets etc. owners very helpful.
Disliked It had been incredibly dry for weeks but the campsite still allowed open fires (they were off the ground) which felt very risky given the circumstances.

Loads of space, great facilities, excellent friendly campsite hosts.
Primitive grass campsite
Liked The facilities were great, as was the cafe and the breakfast provided. There was a full family toilet/shower room which was a huge advantage for small families who couldn't split across multiple bathrooms. The location as beautiful, with plenty of pitching space and the hosts were lovely and were very attentive to ensure the facilities and the campsite generally was clean and well kept. There was also free wifi throughout which was very handy!

Peaceful, clean, friendly.
Primitive grass campsite
Liked A very welcoming, friendly environment. Ruth and John were great interacting with the kids, offering tractor rides and making sure everyone knew who was who, so the children could play together. Facilities were kept immaculate and there was loads of room to feel peaceful and for the children to play also.
Disliked Nothing! I think we'll be back next year!
