What customers say
Adults only. Praised for exceptionally large, private, well-kept pitches with hook-ups. Enjoy peaceful atmosphere, countryside, great walks. Nearby pubs & cafe. BUT, no operational toilets/showers & needs some TLC.

Large, enclosed pitches with EHU and water but not much else.
Powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Great size pitches that are nice and enclosed. We loved the grass and hard standing combination. The surrounding conifers made for a relaxing stay with our dogs. EHU and water available on the pitch too, which is always a plus. We had a nice stay, despite Storm Amy.
Disliked Poor value for money.
We knew there were no facilities available which wasn't an issue for our 2 night stay. However, the pitches need maintenance, the site needs maintenance and the "on-site cafe" is not "on-site" at all. To be honest the whole place felt deserted.
We paid £30 per night for a pitch and EHU with no other facilities at all. Not even a welcome board. Given that £30 a night is more or less the going rate for a site with facilities, staff and some home comforts I do think this site is over priced.
We felt like we had pulled up in a layby that happend to have an EHU. This feels like it once was a fantastic site unfortunately it has been left to ruin.

Liked We liked the secluded pitches and the fact it was adult only. The lakes were nice. A nice walk with the dogs. It was nice for a few days stay however any longer it gets boring as there’s not much to do.
