Great location for views & walking to Castleton/Mam Tor. Friendly owners, clean loos. Basic wild camping feel, but animals, fire pits & honesty box a bonus. Site is sloped, as noted.

Liked Great location, clean toilets lovely honest box with treats and drinks, very warm welcome when we arrived and nice little goats near the field.
Stayed on site with my two daughters felt safe, walking distance from street.
Will be back with the husband and and rest of the children ideal family place

Liked Lovely campsite, with very clean facilities. We loved the animals and the peaceful location with great views.
Disliked The one issue we had was with another selfish group who were very loud, swearing and playing music late on into the night.

A perfect peak district stay with the most amazing views

Liked Stunning panoramic views, easy walk into Castleton and perfect for hill/valley walking and visiting Treak Cliff & Speedwell Caverns.
Super clean toilets and washing up area and an added bonus were the goats, especially the pygmy goat kids!
Disliked Nothing. Informed in advance the pitches slope, just need to bring higher levellers next time!
