What customers say
This well-kept site boasts spacious, fully-serviced pitches and spotless washrooms. Staff are consistently praised as friendly and helpful, with guests loving the peaceful vibe and scenic countryside for walks. A handy on-site shop is available. While most found their stay perfect, a few noted occasional Wi-Fi glitches and some slightly sloped pitches. Highly recommended with many planning to return!

Liked Spacious pitches with amazing facilities. The toilet/shower block were the nicest facilities I’ve ever stayed at on a campsite. Extremely quiet site, felt super safe and the little shop if you need it, is a lovely touch. The microwave/toaster/kettle were perfect if you didn’t want to faff with your camper/tent facilities.
Disliked Nothing to dislike.
A purely informational note, the electric hook up has a QR code on it which isn’t currently in use- plug your cable in and it works straight away (I had no clue what I was doing).

Excellent site, Spotless facilities, friendly staff, faultless wifi.
FHU cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked On arrival i was given instructions of where everything is located along with a welcome pack containing details of local walks, pubs and details on the local area. When I had attempted to connect my electric hook up it would not work, the reception staff couldn't have been more helpful, they tested it and we worked out the issue was my cable, within a minute they returned with another cable for me to use free of charge overnight. Toilet block was immaculate and warm. Wifi was faultless. Definitely will return again.

From the manager: Hope you got your cable sorted out ready for your return trip with us!
Glad you enjoyed it

Great base with lovely views.
FHU cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Lovely site with great views. Very friendly welcome. Modern & clean amenities. The site is a good base for walks & local attractions.
Disliked Only negative is, while we were there, there was a power cut due to nearby works, which meant no electric and hot water until mid afternoon.
Not necessarily the sites fault but just a little inconvenience. Would still highly recommend.
Recommend to friends Visit again
From the manager: Yes sorry about the power cut, hopefully this won't be repeated in the future.
We are pleased you enjoyed your stay whilst taking in the beautiful views & local walks.
