What customers say
A lovely, peaceful farm campsite with great views. Visitors rave about the friendly owners, clean, basic facilities (hot showers!), and spacious pitches. BBQs and fire pits welcome. Well-located for walks and attractions, with good transit. Some note slopes & basic amenities, but most find it great value and want to come back.

Great stay.
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Nice and quiet, clean toilets, everything you need, beautiful view across the valley to the tower. Which we visited and could see the campsite. The area is very pretty. Owners are lovely.
Disliked The only "niggle" and of course I know it's not the owners fault. The whole campsite is on a slope. We managed to find a flatish bit at the top for our tent, and sleeping was fine, but was hard to cook because the pans kept slipping off the stoves and tables. But we solved that by putting bits of wood under the table legs to straighten them up.

Primitive grass campsite
Liked Really nice location cute little walk to the river in canal and 10 minutes from Matlock. The mail on the entrance was very kind and welcoming put me at ease Being solo camper. The facilities are not super modern, but we’re always clean plenty of toilet roll and washing facilities. Is surrounded by nature and to wake up to the views was amazing.

Authentic working farm, cool buildings, can hear animals, did feel out in nature.
Disliked Lots of plot on a slope
I don’t know re Wi-Fi but went camping to escape phones 😌
Not a big deal but 7-8 caravans parked on the field, looked unused and empty. so still peaceful but it reduced the places to pitch.
