Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Beautiful location in the Peak District with beautiful walks from the site.
Peaceful site with relaxed approach to where you pitch.
Friendly owner.
Allows fire baskets and sells logs.
Disliked Rather too far to walk into Monyash or Over Haddon in the evening for a meal or drink at the local pubs.
Limited facilities (fine for motorhomers but less so for tents).
Some of the site is sloping.

Highly recommended - great site, peaceful with amazing Host
Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Absolutely loved Lathkill Wild Campsite. Very spacious, plenty of room and gorgeous views. Really nice and peaceful stay which is what I was looking for.
The facilities are spot on for the price point, and for what the site is about - drinking water, and toilet facilities which I found to be really clean and well maintained.
Special mention to the host/owner Neil, who comes around every evening to check on you and see if you need anything and is always happy to recommend walks and trails in the local area.
I had a great stay, just got back and already looking at my diary working out when I can go back.
Disliked Nothing at all for me!

Lovely location for a simple getaway with the dog.
Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Really lovely picturesque location. Very quiet and rural, however easy to locate and a short drive of local towns. We had no issues whatsoever and will be returning. Dog friendly, plenty of nice, varied pitches.
Toilets are basic but clean and maintained with plenty of space around the sink to wash. Ideal getaway spot and very reasonably priced compared to others nearby.
Disliked None. It's back to basics but you don't feel without.

25 minutes walk to the pub in OverHaddon.
Friendly & relaxed owner who loved his campsite, which is a basic but great place.
Disliked No issues with the campsite having basic facilities, was aware of that before booking.
However, it would be good for those facilities to be better cared for & cleaned more frequently.

Liked Fantastic and relaxed campsite in beautiful location with stunning views in every direction. Really helpful, welcoming and friendly owner. Lovely walks from the site and friendly local pub 20 minutes walk. Highly recommend this campsite and will definitely stay again.
Disliked Didn’t dislike anything about this campsite. The only thing to improve it is the sinks in the toilets would have benefited from being cleaner. A sink to wash up in would also be useful.
