Liked: We liked the the pitch it was clean and tidy.
We like the fire pit area but sadly didn't get to use it as we where delayed getting back to site on our last night.
The toilet and showers where great, nice hot water and very clean aswell.
Disliked: We didn't like the fact there was no play area for children. Although it never said there was anything for them so we didn't expect anything. But would be nice to have some kinda play area.

Liked: Good location. Lovely walk down the tow path around 30 minutes into the market town of leighton Buzzard.
A stones throw from the local pub on the canal.
Friendly chap on arrival who told you all you needed to know on arrival.
Toilets blocks were fine, didn't use the showers as only stayed for one night before coming home but looked perfectly adequate.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Lovely location, beautiful scenery, clean shower / toilet facilities. Walked all along the canal to Leighton Buzzard ... beautiful walk.
Disliked: I found it a little noisy being very near a train line, on a flight path, & very near a busy road.

Liked: Showers were great, large room with toilet and shower combined so easy to access with children. Showers were hot and powerful. You could also hold the shower head which was a bonus! Pitch was great and spacious. Field is next to a train line and fairly busy road but didn’t hear it really most of the time and the kids loved spotting the trains! Man on reception was friendly and explained everything clearly. Didn’t try the pub but it was very close by making eating out convenient.
Disliked: Only thing was the distance from the toilet and shower block from our pitch but didn’t make much difference as we have our own toilet.

Liked: Big field, lots of room for kids to run around.
Close proximity to Grand Union Canal and Grove Lock Marina for picturesque walks . Also pub right next door what more could you need?
Facilities excellent with individual bathrooms 6/7 in a block, well maintained and stocked.
Disliked: Campsite signs! Postcode takes you to some stables not the campsite. Site should be called Grove Lock Marina campsite, not just Grove Lock. ( Pitchup ads just say Grove Lock campsite) We phoned site as we were approaching because we had just driven right past! we thought the lock would Be a different place to the marina, and no brown caravan sign to direct you. Guy on the phone said turn in at pub sign - but there are 2!! Got there eventually.
Camping field is adjacent to quite a busy road so can be a bit noisy. But wasn’t a big issue as in a caravan.

Liked: The local pub was gorgeous.
Disliked: We were given an incorrect entry code so we could not get in. If another guest had not shown up, we would not have got in at all.
We could not use the pedestrian gate to the canal.
No body answered the phone or emails.
This is absolutely unsatisfactory.

Liked: Lots of space between pitches. Sanitary block excellent with toilet, shower and wash bassin all in one private space and very clean.
Disliked: The grass pitches are situated in a field near the road and the train line so it is quite noisy.
Despite good review on the nearby pub, we had a bad experience: It was very busy and short of staff so the tables were not cleaned and many dishes on the menu were not available…but that is nothing to do with the campsite.
