- Group bookings of 2 or more adults are not permitted (couples and immediate family members excepted).
- No bachelor/bachelorette parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
- At least one of the party members must be aged 21 or over.
- Swimming in the lake is not allowed.
- Electricity is metered on site at £0.30 per kWh and must be paid onsite using a pre-paid smart card. A minimum of £5 credit must be added. An additional £5 deposit is taken when the card is issued, refundable on return of the card. Please note activities are seasonal and do not run every day.

This well-kept, clean site has spacious, flat spots by a beautiful lake. Friendly, helpful staff are often mentioned. Watersports are a big hit! Facilities are a bit dated but new ones are planned. The restaurant/bar is generally good. Peaceful and natural setting.

Disliked Would suggest some hooks or maybe a little bench in the showers as there's nowhere to put your clothes

Great site for lake use. Good pitches sizes and clean facilities.

Liked Lovely site and location with a view of the lake. Good pitch sizes and the site was quiet. No noisy groups. Lots of activities to book in the lake too.
Staff and instructors/life guards were all very friendly and polite.
Disliked Unfortunately there was a bright light above our pitch 49 which stayed on all night (the site said they are looking into this)
Disappointed that even though we paid to launch our own paddle board for the hour only one person was aloud the use it per booking - waiver reasons even though we all had waivers from previous use of the lake.
Most lakes we have been to you pay a one off launch fee for a day at a similar price to the hour. (Site did say they were new to launching own)

Liked I love it here, always a friendly welcome when checking in, large pitches, shower block always spotless along with area to clean pots and pans. Plenty of activities to enjoy for the adventurous or just sit back and enjoy the sites and sounds of the park also lovely walks on offer. I live 10 mins away and it feels like i'm the middle of the country side, for those travelling from afar supermarkets, petrol stations and a well stocked butchers are in kempston only a short drive away. Every time we have been everyone respectful of the camp rules. Free WiFi, never had issues with it. Will we be back, absolutely. 😀

It was not for us, but affordable and for a few nights doable.

Liked Most friendly staff at the reception. I think for watersport lovers this is a good site.
Disliked Other staff on the campsite was not friendly at all, I felt unsafe. There was trash everywhere all over the site, plastics, bits of camping gear, bins were more than full. The water from the waterpark had a bad odor and a funny colour. There was very little shade, but I guess they are still working on planting trees. It wasn't clear where was what on arrival.

Our staff are all really friendly on-site and walk around the campsite throughout the day to check on campers and litter pick, if you have any issues with our team please do let our reception team know on the day so we can resolve them on the spot and improve your experience here with us. If you feel unsafe we need to know as this is not something we will tolerate at any point and will help to resolve any situation as needed.
We do a daily litter pick across the site and empty the bins daily however, we do kindly ask all campers to respect the site and make sure to take all rubbish to the bins and take all household items/camping equipment home with them. Again if anything is not up to our high standards please do let the team know on the day so we can resolve for you at the time.
Our lakes are naturally spring-fed and the cleanest water quality around. We conduct monthly and bi-annual water testing with a copy of our water testing certificate available to view in reception. We introduce a natural lake dye twice a year. As well as making the water look great (!) this also helps block light to the lake bed and inhibits weed growth.
We have passed your feedback to the management team to look into further and thank you for your stay.
