What customers say
This scenic riverside campground earns top marks for its friendly staff. Guests loved the peaceful vibe, animal encounters, and river fun. The on-site pub is a hit! Facilities are clean, though some noted a lack of showers for longer stays. Great for families and nature lovers.

Food in the pub was really nice.
Pitches very level.
Sheep in the field was a nice surprise.
Lake runs nearby.
WiFi reached the tent pitch I was on.
Disliked Toilets a bit of a walk from where tent pitches are but not the end of the world, can cross the river to get across much quicker
No shower facilities.

Primitive grass and earth tent campsite (two person, small)
Liked Great little campsite on the edge of a river. Family was very welcoming. Animals onsite which you can feed when you purchase the food at the bar, so great for adults and kids alike. Great environmentally friendly toilet facilities. Love that you can hire a fire pit and buy wood.

Bed-in-a-shed microlodge
Liked Everything. Such a great location, beautiful spot. We turned up late and the kitchen had closed but they kindly rustled us up some very tasty sausage baguettes which was perfect. The family were all super friendly and chatty. We stayed in a bed in a shed. Exactly as described. I loved it, simple and sweet. Just what we needed for the night. Gorgeous walks around the river and alpacas next door too.
Disliked Was slightly firm mattress if I'm being picky but really I loved it all.

Excellent all round 5* excelled expectations!
Primitive grass tent, campervan or trailer tent campsite (family, maximum 6 metres)
Liked I loved everything about this place, what a gorgeous little quirky set up. We stayed in the field with the chickens and the sheep and it was fabulous.. The alpacas are a must 5*
Next time I may do river-side but even from the field the tranquility of the water is surreal and so relaxing.
The family run feeling, by beautiful welcoming hosts. I will be back with my three within the near future.. check it out guys so much to offer.
Disliked Nothing at all.
