Powered concrete and grass site
Liked The location and the view are delightful. Really lovely, spacious site with a short walk to the beach across the fields and down a minor track road. Shop nearby for essentials. Enjoyed the visit from the icecream van.

Lakeside unpowered grass tent site (small)
Liked Beautiful site in a lovely location with great facilities. We did air rifle shooting and quad biking on the site and had lots of fun. The site has an off grid feel with the luxury of running water, flushing toilets and hot showers.
Disliked Not really a dislike but I think this can be a very busy site and the parking is limited. Just something to be aware of when booking. The woodland pitches are more secluded so if that's what you are after they might be worth considering or avoid a peak weekend in the school holidays.

Unpowered grass site
Liked Very family fiendly site. Lots of open space for playing games on the field. Flat tent pitches with plenty of space which is lovely. The area is well kept and the toilet facilities generally clean. the site owner was very welcoming and helpful.
Disliked It would be nice to see recycling facilities for rubbish on the site (unless we just didn't find them). The toilet block is looking a bit tired although not uncared for, there was someone on site fixing the toilet when we arrived. Other campers did have music on the site although this was quite and didn't cause any disturbance.

Isle of Iona, Argyll, Scotland
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked Everything!
Disliked OK, the walk up was a bit tough with not very practical camping equipment (completely our own fault). We are regular Iona visitors though so we knew what we were in for. It would be ace if you offered a bag ferrying service for those with less hiker friendly tents. This did not spoil our stay though!
