Liked It was quiet for October half term. Food in the restaurant was good and our boys had a good time fishing.
Disliked Quite a few things out of order and not working. Toilets and showers were really poorly cleaned at points which is a key issue for us, and would put us off returning. WiFi is patchy

Liked A real gem. Beautiful chateau where the bar is located, also using the pretty lawn. Warm friendly staff, decent restaurant, good bar, clean facilities, decent water pressure, nice big pitches which feel nicely blended into the trees. Full service pitch was excellent. The best site out of 7 on our France tour.

Liked Location to the lovely town and village is excellent.
Disliked The smallest touring pitches I have encountered in 5 years of Caravanning. Unisex toilets and showers is a culture shock, especially for a wife having to walk past men using the urinals. In the morning no toilet roll to be found in any toilet. Low water pressure showers. Entrance is a bit chaotic, as you have to hold up traffic and block everyone when you first arrive.

Liked Lovely Boulangerie a short walk. Quiet when we visited. Tranquil spot in the trees. Easy access to Chinon.
Disliked Tip, take plenty of mosquito spray.

Liked Location by the river and lovely little town nearby with a handful of restaurants.
Disliked Needs a little shop of basics ideally, showers were cold to luke warm and unisex. Water pressure on water taps is really poor so filling a water hog takes forever! Paid wifi….. in these times….. that is a head in hands moment!

Liked Cute little bar, well kept site, friendly welcoming service, good sized pitched, very green, near to supermarket, good for dogs, not far from Calais ferry and a useful stopover point.
Disliked WiFi wasn’t good but not a big deal for us.
