Powered grass site
Liked Very nice restaurant and farm shop, as you expect a bit pricy. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. For the anglers, eight lakes to fish all well stocked with very well looking healthy fish. For the hikers, some beautiful countryside to explore and Battle Abbey. There are a couple of pubs fairly close buy to have a cold drink and a meal.
Disliked The toilet/shower block in Oak field could do with a bit of TLC.

Unpowered grass site
Liked We enjoyed our stay at The Hop Farm, it was a really large site with plenty going on, like archery, canoeing, crafts and more. There was a Restaurant with nice garden and an on site pub which served up lovely food, also having an outside eating area. Also the site has gigs going on throughout the season, during our stay there was a scooter rally with music going on in a distant field, so no problem with noise. The site has a shop at the reception which stocks the basics like milk, eggs, cold drinks etc, but there is a CO OP a 2 minute drive away, or at the back of the site you can reach the supermarket with a lovely 15 minute walk along the River Medway. The site as well has a Boot Fair going on most weekends. Family friendly with rides and play area.
Disliked We thought that the restaurant was a bit pricey.
