Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked Amazing views over the valley.
Edd the farmer was very pleasant.
Disliked There was no signage from the main road to the campsite. Had to ask local pub for directions. According to the pub this is quite common.
Road into campsite was like a plowed field with deep potholes.
The pitch’s were very steep. So placing anything on a table just slid off. Also made sleeping quite difficult.
While for the women there is good toilet facilities and the showers were great. But the male toilets were only a single site toilet ( potaloo) this also had no lights.
As this is a dog friendly site were your required to pay extra per night for your dog I found it very annoying that the campsite had free roaming sheep. There were approximately 12 sheep on our site. I found it strange that a farmer would allow sheep to free roam around unknown dogs.
