Liked Fantastic family camping site. Quiet and peaceful. Large pitches so personal space is guaranteed, laundry facilities and fridge-freezer available to use. Loos were clean.
Friendly campers too ... no music blasting or dogs running wild or weed smells drifting on every breeze as is sadly common in alot of places.
Bar open in the evening and food vans appear on certain nights.
15mins walk to beach across the nature reserve. Beach is vast and largely empty.
Disliked If anything, a few extra showers wouldn't go amiss, and requiring an outside pre-shower hosedown to wash off sand from children(mostly) to minimise the amount of it in the shower tray ... as a couple of nights it was like standing on the beach in those cubicles which subsequently caused blockages in the trays and water all over the floor.
Also most nights the loo roll in most (ladies) toilets had run out before bed so bring a roll just in case the warden doesnt slap two rolls in the holder.
