Liked Site was lovely and open and kept amazing.
Showers and loos are clean tidy and loads of them.
Cafe on site did the most wonderful breakfast and small shop but well stocked.
Dog walk was lovely all along the river bank.
It was a bit of a walk to the main strip and pubs and beach and although there was a path still quite far if distance is a problem.
Staff are lovely,helpful and friendly.
Due to location you need to make your own entertainment in the evenings maybe a bar would be good.
Disliked Nothing really

Liked Very friendly site with lovely flat pitches, plenty of room and very helpful staff. Just outside the site is a bus which means you don’t need to drive. A great but little expensive pub opposite and also a café but can get snacks on site. The site is well lite at night and has the best showers we’ve ever encountered on a camp site in the uk. All in all a super camping experience.
Disliked A small criticism is that though out our visit we could not get a tv signal.

From the manager: Thank you for your review, we are pleased you found the site very friendly and liked your pitch as well as the local pub and cafe. We are so glad to know you thought the showers were the best you've experienced. We do have pitches with a built in TV cable, next time you book I recommend getting one of our 'super pitches'

Liked Lovely site. Plenty of room. Fire pits for rent. Great friendly owners and nothing’s too much trouble. Facilities on site are second to none. Beautiful spot but a little isolated but if it’s a quiet site your after then perfect. And the most delicious ice cream and a small shop which sold everything. Really dog friendly and a lovely little dog walk.
Disliked Nothing really but would benefit from a small bar/café which serves breakfast.

From the manager: Thank you for your review and comments. We're really pleased you enjoyed yourselves with us. We are always looking for mobile catering to come on site and is something we will keep on doing as they are a great asset to our visitors and are always popular.

Liked Open well spaced pitch, lovely showers some of the best we’ve used nice and clean and we never had to queue. Site is well lit at night but not intrusive and so safe to take dog out for last wee.
Staff were so helpful and accommodating all in all a great site with great facilities around them all within walking distance and yummy chocolate milk so will book again.

Liked Pitch 100 with a super view, slightly uneven but overall facilities were good and clean restaurant food was really tasty but under staffed so slow and our breakfast was mixed up but we got extra toast so all good.
Dave was really helpful with the pitch.

Liked Great pub to use as a base to explore the coast of Norfolk and then to come back to a delicious home cooked meal. Landlord and Landlady are lovely, friendly and will help you if they can. Pitches are generous and level but if I’m going to be super critical not much shade overall a super pub and we would go back

Liked Staff all very friendly, couldn't do more to help! Clean toilets and showers. Good level pitch.
Disliked Site very tired and in need of an update. Don't understand how they can say it's a dog friendly site when they don't allow them in the pub or any facilities. Dog friendly usually means that they are allowed in pubs, was very disappointed as that was the reason we picked the site. Also no wifi!

From the manager: We are sorry to read the negative comments with regards to your stay and would just like to take this opportunity to clarify a few details. Due to the recent adverse weather conditions that we have had over the past few months we have had little chance to do any major groundwork to improve the site as this obviously cannot be completed in snow. With regards to wifi, it can clearly be seen in the amenities section on the site that there is no wifi available at this time. Dogs are welcome on site and to stay that is why we call ourselves dog friendly but the pub that is on site is not run by pen-y-fan therefore we are not responsible for them not allowing dogs into their restaurant. We appreciate everyone's reviews and will take on board all comments as long as they are valid. Thank you for giving the staff the great comments that they deserve.
