Large powered grass caravan site
Liked Nice site, well looked after.
Disliked Phone signal was terrible and the internet on my phone was almost nowhere to be seen. We did login to the park wifi (free) but this seems to be turned off when the office closes. They really need to put numbers on the pitches.

Liked Good facilities
Disliked The touring pitches are like a dust bowl due to the hard standing. A bit like a car park. Although it clearly states that commercial vehicles and work vehicles are not allowed on site, this is clearly not adhered to, from 6 am onwards travelers and their vehicles continually drove in and out of the site. This went on until nightfall. Children as young as 14 drove large 4 wheel drive vehicles around the site, screeching wheels and creating dust. This is disaster waiting to happen.Rude children (travellers), we didn’t feel our belongings were safe at all. Wi-Fi kept breaking down for 2 weeks.I didn’t want to spend my holiday in a gypsy camp. We left 1 week early. Would we stay there again, not a chance.

From the manager: Thanks for your feedback David — we're glad you enjoyed the facilities. We’re sorry to hear the touring pitches felt dusty and that site rules weren’t enforced. Your concerns about safety, Wi-Fi reliability, and overall comfort are important and will be reviewed with management. Warm regards, Team Verdant

Liked Good location
Disliked Noisy at night. The 6 amp electricity supply if simply not good enough. We were charged about 26 euros for electricity for a 5 day stay. We couldn’t even turn the hot water tap on without tripping it. A constant problem to keep turning it back on.

Liked Not a lot really.
Disliked The site felt like a prison camp. It’s infested with ants. This site is the most caravan unfriendly site I’ve ever been to. The water points are are 15- 20 minutes walk away from the pitch. You need to use the motor home filling point. It stinks. The
toilet emptying facilities are not sufficient, they even had it locked on on day.
The showers on 2 days did not work at all and on 2 other days had no hot water at all so we had to take cold showers. The swimming pool was patrolled by guards who made you take any footwear of before entering, even flip flops. It was 40 degrees so we had to dance across
The hot concrete to avoid burning our feet. There are no facilities for having a drink or food anywhere near the pool. My granddaughter bout a lilo from the camp shop for using in the pool. We were then told it can’t be used in the pool, only in the sea. This is dangerous.
All in all we felt like 2 nd rate guests because we booked with pitchup.
Never again
