Unpowered grass and earth tent or trailer tent site
Liked So peaceful. Large area to putch up where you like including right next to the lake! So much wildlife we even saw a heron and kingfisher. Louth is only 10 minutes away with some lovely little shops and eateries.
The toilet and showers are almost new! Well lit for night time but not taking away from the feel of tranquility and calm.
We chose to spend the day on the wooden jetty watching the lake and wildlife. We will absolutlry be returning for some r and r.
Disliked There is nothing to dislike! Just what we were looking for.

Bakewell, Derbyshire, England
Liked Toilet block was cleaned several times a day and was super clean even at full capacity.
The location is superb and just a short drive from many excellent walking locations, we did Lathkill Dale and Monsal Trail...even managed to squeeze in a visit to Stanton and bakewell.
Make sure you have plenty of 20p coins as to operate the hot water showers it's 20p a minute. Showers are powerful and clean.
There is no limit of how big your pitch is. Even at full capacity there was still lots of space.
Will no doubt be visiting again.

Market Rasen, Lincolnshire, England
VIP Camping area unpowered grass site
Liked The toilet and shower block was extremely well maintained and cleaned daily. The pitches were huge so it still felt private and quiet despite others camping next to us. The surrounding countryside is beautiful with direct access to a gorgoeus woodland full of pines and ferns. Very quiet and peaceful and the owners were very helpful and friendly. We came with our labrador and there were plenty of routes to take him on.
Disliked Children's climbing frame was old and felt unsafe. We appreciated this site was probably more catered for people wanting to relax or come without children but why provide a play area if it isn't going to be maintained?

Liked One of the most relaxed and friendly campsites we have been to. Took our toddler and 8 year old and there was plenty to keep them entertained on site for the two nights we stayed. The owners are fab, friendly and very down to earth which made us feel relaxed. We took our Labrador with us who also enjoyed the big walks we could take him on in the surrounding Tuetoes Wood. The wash facilities were fab and always clean. There's a small woodland walk on site which was perfect for tiring out our toddler and a park which tired out the eldest. They have pretty much though of everything here! We honestly didn't want to leave and will be going back in the spring for a longer stay. Thanks Ian and Josie.
