Castleton, Derbyshire, England
Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked Second stay here in as many weeks. Always welcoming, toilets are very clean, running drinking water is available dogs are welcome and catered for.
Disliked Nothing was disliked, if I had to be critical the single track road from town to the camp site can get busy with walkers but this is to be expected.

Liked Nice camp site, this is the second time I’ve stayed here in the last few weeks.
Great access to a good few hiking trails (Mam and Back Tor and Linder scout
Clean modern toilet block, drinking water and honesty box for those late night essentials. Good price and no real sizes for the pitches. Dog go free and dog waist bin provided.
Not far from town where there are many pubs to eat in and take away
Friendly owner who does regular rounds to check everything is ok.
Disliked If I have to say anything negative. It’s the lack of power. But this is a really small negative. As I have on board power and capacity to last my 2 recent trips
The single track road up is a little tight with not many passing spaces, and can get busy on arrival times
