Facilities were clean.
Lovely Fell views.
Disliked Had a bit of a factory yard feel to it.

Was a bit of a tab into Keswick.

From the manager: Kevin, the recycling area has since been tidied, unfortunately it appeared from the CCTV that we had our first fly tipping experience and for that mess I can only apologise. I dont know where there is a factory yard in the UK that has the mountain views, fields full of cows and mountain outlook that we have but there are parts of the country I havent visited so I will just have to believe that they exist and thats where you have drawn that comparison from. A bit of a tab into Keswick, I dont know what tab is? but I can only guess again that you mean you felt 3 miles was a long distance to travel...... No comment needed there. Apologies again for the rubbish area, that was found to be unacceptable by myself when I saw it, I have just ordered signs to advise the bins are covered by cctv so it shouldnt happen again. We charge £30 a night, remain the cheapest in the area and the majority of our guests leave really happy having paid just £30 to wake up to mountain views and a lovely shower.

Liked Lovely compact site in cracking location for the Cumbrian beach & Drigg sand dunes with good pitches.
Staff friendly and flexible (in respect to check in / out as opposed to mobility 😄) - a last minute booking date change was not an issue.
Facilities excellent from showers to refuse!
Train station & bus facilities very near by!
Disliked A local pub.
Wi-Fi needed a bit of a boost.

Liked Friendly Staff.
Nice pub, food & ale.
Location to Lulworth Cove.
Good value for Money.
Disliked Location next to busy main road.
Facilities, although functional, were a bit run down.
Bins were a bit grim, I know it’s hot but the piles of rubbish next to the actual bins reminded me of The Simpson’s episode where the Binmen stopped collecting their rubbish.

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time and trouble to leave a review. The pub itself is a traditional coaching inn and is therefore on the local road system the advantage being ease of access to local attractions. In terms of the bins I am afraid the Binmen were indeed late for their collection causing a backlog of rubbish to collect despite the efforts of the staff to redistribute the rubbish to other bins. I understand that this was cleared shortly after check-in. I do hope this provides some clarity to your comments.
