Swansea, Glamorgan, Wales
Church Field unpowered grass and earth campervan, tent or trailer tent site (maximum 6 metres)
Liked Localish to us, rural and relatively peaceful.
Disliked Other reviews were correct in that the noise from adjacent main road, especially from baffleless motorbikes, was noticeable. Van well insulated so nights not too bad. Glad we weren’t in a tent! Smell of drugs being smoked onsite not our scene. Felt it was not good value for money compared to others in area offering better facilities and cheaper.

Unpowered grass campervan, tent or trailer tent site
Liked Absolutely idyllic this one. Greeted by Simon and his wife (lovely couple). Found a nice pitch in the corner (don’t forget your levelling chocks!). Was going to have a walk into the village but loved the site so much just chilled out there. Brought own shower unit but didn’t need as showers there were spot of. Loads of space for changing and hanging clothes etc. This site exceed my expectations. £12 a night this place is a steal. Recommend this one 100%.
Disliked Two nights wasn’t enough!

Unpowered grass site
Liked Lovely idyllic location ample space to pitch and just left to it. Site grounds very clean and tidy. Nice sociable campers to chat to. Settle not far for supplies/visiting.
Disliked Biffa refuge bins overflowing attracting birds and flies. Probably rats during out of hours. Common sense would have said move them out of site and decant one for public use until collected by provider. Portaloos a no go area!

Power optional grass site
Liked Only a nice couple in a VW Caddy there when I arrived. Later met by Martin the warden. Nice sociable chap. Absolutely beautiful countryside. Pitched by the running brook and just relaxed for two nights. Brilliant location for HF ham radio. 5-7 into Victoria Australia on 20 metres. Very low noise floor - perfect! Don’t forget to bring your own kharsie and shower!! Recommend 100%.
Disliked No internet connection so if you need telly or social media forget it. Fortunately I can live without it.

Ingleton, North Yorkshire, England
Powered concrete and grass motorhome site
Liked Excellent views and amenities. Wanted to do this site for years. Location and the waterfall walk just stunning. The site is absolutely immaculate. Real up to date facilities. Took me five minutes to work the modern taps! Friendly staff are great. Ingleton not too far to walk. Been going to Ingleton since early 70’s and always visit the pottery to chat with Dick for about an hour while buying a trinket. Great fish and chip shop in the village. Always get talking to the locals. This place is a must for anybody that appreciates the Yorkshire Dales.
Disliked Nothing to dislike

Talybont-on-Usk, Powys, Wales
Unpowered grass and earth caravan site
Liked Nice friendly owners that went above and beyond to please. Credit to them. Views stunning combined with peace and tranquility. Left to it and none regimental. Other users were quiet and respectful. Made a good friend in the beautiful farm cat who we named Mogsey - got a visit both mornings and came to sleep on our mat. Staff did the rounds on an evening with logs and fresh produce - real bonus. Talybont was a short walk with an excellent cafe serving quality food and Indian food. We’d stay again.
Disliked Pitches not very level. Toilet and showers needed an overdue upgrade. Bit of a walk too sometimes having to queue. Lane up to the site a bit nail biting.

From the manager: Thank you for staying with us. The cat named Batman loves the campers lol. Yes, 4 toilets and 3 eco ones on bank holiday is a little busy especially the 2 on the bottom field. Thank you !
