Liked Absolutely loved this place! The pitches were level making for an easy set up. The ground was really hard (but not their fault; we’ve had such a dry summer), and we got a little stuck but they had tools to help us out available. We had the pizzas - they were delicious and a must have if you go! We also had breakfast baps - quality ingredients and well worth the price. The park is wonderful for kids. We went on the week leading up to bank holiday and the kids were all back on their own pitches before 10pm which was nice as we weren’t worried about ours getting to sleep. The facilities were really lovely - best we’ve come across. The unisex/family bathrooms were wonderful. I also did washing - reasonably priced and easy to use. We used the pot wash too and that was so clean, warm and well locked after. Positioning of the place is also fab - we went to Dalby Forest a few times, Scarborough, Thornton Le Dale, Pickering … so much to do. Overall it was such a fabulous place - we will definitely be back! Thank you.

Liked We absolutely loved this site! It’s small enough that it feels personal and safe, but still big enough that it has everything you need. The Engine Shed is so wonderful - we had food twice; the pittas and then loaded hash browns. Both great value and super yummy. We then also grabbed breakfast one morning - delicious! The park is lovely - we were lucky to get a pitch with a clear view of the park - the kids were in it all the time. The showers and toilet block were the cleanest I’ve ever visited! Such a high standard. The stream is also amazing and the kids loved paddling (well- completely submerging themselves!!). The viaduct walk is also wonderful. We will be back!

Disliked Not really a dislike, just something for others to consider - we were asked to park our caravan nose in. It didn’t bother us in the slightest, but did wonder what those without a motor mover would have done if they weren’t strong enough to pull their van.

Liked Absolutley beauiful site with just the best staff we have come across! Would highly recommend. We came with out 4 children (Aged between 4 & 12) for the weekend. The location was perfect - we went to cayton bay, scarborough and filey. The site is lovely. The park is great, the children loved it. We stayed in a fully serviced pitch and can't say a bad word about. I saw some reviews about the toilets/showers not been clean - this was not our experience at all. They were modern, clean and really nice. The staff were INCREDIBLE - we had an issue with our caravan and they were so helpful. We felt safe and secure in their hands. I would highly recommend this site. We will be back! :)

Liked Absolutely beautiful site with friendly and helpful wardens. This was our very first caravanning trip and we couldn’t have picked a better place. The pitch was large and everything so easy and convenient. The park is incredible - kids spent every waking minute there! We got fresh bread and eggs from the shop one morning (plus sweets the previous day!). It’s very well stocked. The meadows and ball field are also lovely. Will be back.
