Power optional grass and gravel site
Liked The campsite is very well located with easy access to the town centre. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Really well stocked shop. The service areas were super clean and spacious with good showers and family sized cubicles. Our services pitch was a great size in lovely surroundings. The pool and play areas were clean and well maintained. We particularly enjoyed using the shuttle bus - electric tuk-tuk vehicle, to get around places to sight see. With a 9 and 7 year old, conserving energy this way meant we could stay out for much longer and enjoy the area, plus it was good value.

Power optional grass and earth motorhome site
Liked Good sized pitches with services. Numerous shower and toilet cubicles.
Disliked The pool was extremely busy - with no lifeguard in attendance so felt quite unsafe. Bigger children jumping off the top of the slide into 3 foot of water of the pool for smaller children. Dangerous behaviour and no parents in sight.
The children’s entertainment appeared to be good although we didn’t participate due to us not speaking the language, the microphone was extremely loud in an evening when probably wasn’t needed due to only a handful of children being present.

Ballycastle, Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland
Fully-serviced gravel and concrete caravan site
Liked A warm welcome from the owners, who obviously care very much about the campsite and surrounding area. The campsite has lots of things for the children to explore and the walks around the land are great. The toilets and showers were spotless and never busy. A short drive into Ballycastle with some fabulous options for eating out and a co-op for groceries. We thoroughly enjoyed our first trip in our campervan and our first trip to Northern Ireland. Stunning scenery both in the area and at Watertop itself.
