Unpowered grass tent site
Liked The warden was lovely and the facilities were great, for a campsite it was unreal having access to an oven, kettle and indoor common room. The views are amazing and great walks are on your doorstep!
Disliked the road getting there is a gravel track and parking is very limited, thats just the price you pay for such a remote location though

Long Itchington, Warwickshire, England
Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked The pitch area was lovely and the pub its self if fantastic
Disliked The campsite facilities were terrible and in a poor state of repair, there was no toilet paper in either toilet and neither shower was working, looks like it was all made cheaply a long time ago, it really lets down what would otherwise be a great stop on a tour

From the manager: Thank you for your visit to us and your feed back, we are sorry that our facilities are not up to your standards, both the shower do work but are on pull cord switches and are turned off while not in use, sorry this wasn’t communicated with you. Toilet paper is regularly topped up but obviously haven’t been done at that time a phone call to the pub or popping in to speak to a member of staff could have resolve this instantly.

Shepherd's hut (mountain view)
Liked Super friendly staff, free little bottle of milk and a very spacious and well equiped shepards hut, best one I have ever stayed in

Small hillside unpowered grass tent site
Liked great views at the top of the hill, but semi private pitches are amazing, there are a couple of completely private ones but most are two tents per section, with bushes and trees surrounding the pitches.
convenient compost toilet right by the pitches with a full plumbed bathroom at the base of the hill
handy firepit with every pitch too
Disliked you can't really tell from the pictures but this is a very steep hill that you have to walk to in order to reach the pitches, meaning I had to leave my motorcycle away from my tent which isn't the end of the world as they provide a little trolley to get your gear up there
a non issue really when compared with the quality of the pitches
