Liked Only stayed for one night, mainly static caravans on site but spaces for tourer and tents •Really clean facilities •Level gravel pitch •Stunning view •Washing up area was great, water nice and hot and was indoors •Great communication from owner •Nice quiet location

Disliked Pitch was overlooked by statics, but wasn't a huge issue

Disliked Site is on the side of a hill, in a valley. So sloping and could get hit by strong winds, not the owners fault, just saying.

Liked Had a gravel pitch for one night •Idea location for starting Hadrian's Wall walk and an RSPB Campfield Marsh reserve with nesting Ospreys. •Facilities clean •Friendly staff •Bar resonably priced, didn't try the food but it smelt and looked lush. •Chickens roaming around •Great value for money

Liked We absolutely loved this site, everything we needed, if you are an old school camper, happy with a shower and toilets only, then you will love this site. Surrounded by woodland, the bird call is an amazing companion for the day! Plenty of walks from the site, including a footpath to the pub! A really peaceful site, hassle free, with the added bonus of a really dark sky at night along with the tawny owls
