Liked We stayed at Lake Vyrnwy Campsite from 22–25 August and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The setting is absolutely breathtaking – surrounded by nature, with plenty of space to relax and soak in the beauty of the lake and hills. The facilities were spotless, well maintained, and everything felt so thoughtfully looked after. What really made our stay stand out, though, was the warmth of the people. The campsite has such a welcoming feel, and we were genuinely impressed by how peaceful and friendly the atmosphere was. A special mention has to go to the local store nearby – the owners are absolutely lovely, so kind and helpful, and made us feel right at home. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already planning our return. If you’re thinking about camping in the area, we couldn’t recommend Lake Vyrnwy Campsite highly enough – it’s a little gem.
