Powered grass and gravel site
Liked 2 friendly ground staff the warden worzal and the grounds man chap didnt know his name.
Disliked Sadly, Awful… plot 193 on day of arrival pitch was too small for our 6 plus metre tent had to cram between bushes. Not pleasant.
This is NOT a quiet campsite. To get to your pitch it’s gravelled driving all around if you want a quiet night sleep forget it the ground workers and other staff start driving around on gold buggies from 7 am and drive past all the pitches creating huge amounts of noise AND this is all day long. Also people walking around it’s all gravel to even get to the wash facilities They have arctic Lorries tankers also driving through YES the camp site.
Watch out for the badgers and mice they will
Come into your tent at night so put your food away.
Overall not a pleasant piece full holiday we’d hopped for.
The toilet wash facilities there are two the one nearest the bar/restaurant needs attention the water drips out of the showers thinks due th the hard water build
Up on the shower heads. Need attention
The other block away to the right of the Manor House these are better seems to be a newer building larger cubicles etc.
If you like woodland and sleeping under it you’ll be fine but our up with the large amount of noise it won’t be a good night sleep.
We have come away from cloff house wanting another holiday to get over this one.
Sorry would not recommend Ciff house

Power optional grass and gravel site
Liked When we pulled up have had a 3 hour journey to get there we found Marc courteous and very help full.
This was our homey moon and we wanted some one peaceful and quiet this was exactly what we got. The site is split into 3
Motor home in first section and camping in the next Marc. Was on hand daily.
We stayed for 12 nights. Of an evening we would see the rabbits come out etc.
the main thing we were able to unwind and relax.
Off the facilities toilet blocks were clean and. Leaned every day
Showers lovely and hot and large
Shower drainage was great exactly the same for the ladies toilets etc.
the kitchen area was also clean with 3 washing up places.
We ran out of wood Marc stepped in and provided us with kindling and wood.
Marc is very friendly and does like to check on his guests to see they are ok etc.
nothing to much trouble
On one occasion he even looked after some ones dog for the day whilst they went to the Eden project.
We used the site as a base
5 mins in car to local shops lid Tesco
And hour to beaches.
We look forward to our next visit.
Electric Points all located within reach
