Facilities were clean and helpful, friendly staff.
Staff were very accommodating in finding us a pitch we could access and also lent us extra electric cable to access hookup which was quite away from the pitch we found. Allowed us to go the wrong way on the one way system.
Poolside bar serving drinks and snacks
Disliked This site is definitely not suitable for 7+metre motorhomes. The site is on a hill so to access the pitches is up hill round tight bends which we couldn’t do in our 7.3metre motorhome. The first two pitches allocated to us we couldn’t fit on with our 7.3 metre van. Some of the trees were also quite low for our 3.2metre high motorhome which meant we would have scratched the roof and windows had we have driven down the one way road system, (we went the wrong way)
A lot of midges
The location was a bit remote but that was our fault for not researching properly
Booked via Pitchup which said they catered for gluten free however this was not the case.

Liked Great location near to lots of activities for all ages and a short bike ride into the Centre. Whilst the site was quite big it was still quiet. You can pay a special rate to gain direct and unlimited access to the Bournat theme park where you can step back in time with children’s rides, restaurants and entertainment. Watching the fireworks at them them park and then whilst sat on our pitch was fabulous. Pitches were spacious and the showers and toilets were clean although there were times when there was a small que.
By showing your wrist band also got you a discount when hiring a canoe from the Centre just down the road from the site as the river is opposite the site.
Disliked Pool was great but felt it was a little small for the size of the site as it did get busy and there weren’t enough loungers. There were two pools but most people favoured the outdoor pool in the sunny weather.
The bins were away from the pitches but they were full for the duration of our stay (3 nights) and were very smelly.

Liked Wow, remote and peaceful site and not too big. Claire and Patrick are absolutely lovely and very accommodating. The site was nice and quiet and pitches spacious. Pool was in a nice setting and a good size for the site. The cognac tasting is an absolute must and needless to say we purchased several bottles. We can highly recommend the almond cognac. Would definitely stay again. Thank you so much Claire and Patrick for your hospitality and making us feel so welcome.
Disliked Definitely not a dislike as the showers were clean and adequate but I believe the owners are planning on updating them.
Not being able to speak as good French as Claire could English

Liked Nice site about 35minute walk from the Centre where there are bars and restaurants and marina. Staff were very friendly and plenty of entertainment for families. Washing up area and showers were very clean. Pool was great and the slide was a bonus. Nice spacious pitches
Disliked Despite seeing the cleaner cleaning all facilities, the toilets absolutely stunk of stale urine, both male and female.

Liked Absolutely amazing site with stunning views of the French Alps. Great location and only approx 20minute bike ride to shops/large supermarket (Carrefort).
Secure site, free washing machine. The newest shower block was very clean and modern with enough showers and toilets and points for your hair dryers/straightners.
Staff very friendly and a bar and restaurant on site.
Pitch that we found was large, plenty of space and quiet with good views
Go karting 15minute walk off the site, booking advisable in season
Large lake 5minute walk off the site with amazing views, lake swimming, large Waterpark, bar/restaurant just at the side of the lake (food was lovely and ice creams and drinks can be purchased throughout the day), peddlos, high ropes and crazy gold were also available.
Chamonix Mont Blanc not too far away and can highly recommend and well worth the visit.
Disliked Pitch number given but no numbers on pitches so basically park where you can find space. One side was quite busy with people parking wherever and seemed a bit noisy.
Not a dislike but be aware that electric points and to service 4 pitches so you will need long cables.
No water on the pitch so make sure you fill up before parking up.
A bit of a walk to reception to book in to get the code for the gate. This caused a bit of congestion outside the site as others had arrived at the same time.
