From the manager: Copilot said: Thank you for your feedback. We're pleased to hear you enjoyed the location, spacious pitches, and overall facilities. We're sorry that the toilet block felt too small during busy periods and that queues, untidy dishwashing areas, and inconsistent Wi-Fi and TV reception impacted your stay. We also understand your concerns about dog walkers passing close to your pitch, however some of these issues are not something we can sort. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and will use your comments to help improve our guests' experience in the future.

Disliked Lots of Migies around the pitch.
Toilet and shower were a mess, not clean at all
Big group of bikers playing heavy metal music, language was not good ,later in evening got really loud. not suitable for children
Ordered food. Hubby had ribs and found something shining it was a copper wire, took it to the manager who then asked the chef and told it was from the scrubber from cleaning down the grill, the copper scrubber. :( Wow.
she apologised and said she wouldn't charge, however this should not happen. really careless of the chef.

From the manager: There were no complaints raised during your visit other that pointing out the wire in your husbands meal. It’s of great help if customers let us know if there are any issues with cleanliness or problems with the facilities. We are only a small team and can’t be everywhere all of the time. If things are brought to our attention we can act! So to address the points raised. The Ribs, I actually said that the chef said “it looks like a wire of a scourer (which I might add we do not use)” and I said “all ribs are delivered lose in a bag so it’s a mystery how that could have got there. It was there though a d I knocked it off the bill. The chef has taken the ribs off the menu for now and we are looking at new suppliers ✔️ The midges - we can’t help. We are in the countryside!! ✔️ The bikers (6 of them, with their children!) we’re enjoying themselves and did have music on that was deemed at an appropriate level and was turned off by 11pm ✔️ I can’t comment on the language as I was busy in the pub but I’m sure if you had asked them to mind their language if it was offensive they would have toned it down. They were a pleasant, friendly group of gentlemen who had come away on their bikes, camping with their children to have a good time. 😊

Liked We have just returned from Hobground Campsite. We were welcomed to the site by the owner who introduced himself, he offered to bring us some fresh eggs from the farm which was really lovely,. He asked if we wanted anything, we just needed an extension for the Electric, which he was more than happy to lend us.
We found him to be really friendly and polite, the dogs are lovely.
The site itself was clean, spacious and flat and well looked after. The toilets and shower were more than adequate for our stay.
It was such a find, off the roadsite, really quiet and restful, it was really close to neighbouring pubs and villages for shops etc we will definately be returning.
Disliked The British weather :(
