Liked Views were lovely clean facilities asked to reschedule very last minute because we couldn’t get there and got a confirmation quickly from the host very very grateful for this:

Disliked The requirement to pay for their fire pits and only use their wood. I find this extreme and kinda let the trip down. Showers are at a cost but very roomy. Toilet can be quite far away if you’re at the other side of the field. Also, Nothing the owners could do but just having people park next to you when there’s a while field is annoying but out of anyone’s control.

Liked Size of campsite. Views at location. Hot shower service of staff I was arriving late so they checked me in and told me everything over text that I needed they were incredibly helpful

From the manager: Appreciate you staying with us, and happy you enjoyed the views and price. We do want to gently flag that our campsite is advertised as a back-to-basics, off-grid pitch with no facilities. So leaving a lower score for “lack of facilities” is a bit like booking a tent pitch and being disappointed it isn’t a hotel room. Most of our “get back to basics” campers bring a toilet tent / camping loo and a shower bag — and if you prefer on-site toilets/showers, paying a little extra for a fully serviced site is definitely the way to go. We pride ourselves on good score, please note not to lower facilities score for lack of helicopter pad, swimming pool, sky diving facilities. Please rate us on what we offer and facilities we actually price and provided, a section of grass, fresh water and toilet tipping point with what we think is amazing views from every pitch.
