Robins Nest camping pod (deluxe)
Liked Nothing
Disliked Pod smelled of rotting wood, needed to be aired. Dogs must me kept on leads but the owners wandered around free, even coming into the Pod. Pod door would not lock.
Only stayed 2 hours, waste of money

From the manager: Hi sorry you did not enjoy your stay The smell is natural pine inside the pods which they are made off and unpainted . As for sprite my dog going around his home with no lead on i think that is quite fair and reasonable as he lives there ,i would not lock him away like some zoo caged animal. kind regards Ian , sprite and the team at springwood

Powered concrete and grass motorhome site
Liked View, pub and cycle paths
Disliked pitches were too close together, camping park was overgrown.

From the manager: Thank you for the review - sorry to hear you felt the pitches are too close. I do not understand the comment about the camping park being overgrown? The whole site is mowed every week - including the camping field? We do leave part of the camping field, the wall and fence bottoms alone as this helps to promote wildflowers and wildlife. Customer photos (of recent stays) show the site at the same time that I believe you were here and it doesn't - in our opinion - look overgrown....

Powered concrete slab caravan site
Liked Nothing
Disliked Pitches too small and boxed in, no countryside view. The view was a car opposite.
Unruly and noisey children. Pub not open Friday afternoon.
No close by walks for dogs where you can let them off the lead.
When you go to a caravan site, you expect views and peace and quite. We have been to the Golden Valley which was also a big site, but you were spaced out not on top of each other, hence the noise from children was not like being in a play ground.
We not go back. We left a day early on Saturday morning
