Disliked Toilets and shower are grim.

From the manager: Toilets are cleaned twice daily!!!!!….. unfortunately I can’t be responsible for the way that the toilets are left by other campers!!!!…. Plus at no point during your stay did you say anything to any member of staff who would’ve sorted any issues for you!!!! To complain after you have left does not sort the issues you have had while you are here!!!! We can fix or sort or clean up after others IF WE ARE TOLD AT THE TIME!!!!!…. Try complaining at the time if you have an issue as most things can be easily resolved but sadly not after the fact Kindest regards Mike

Powered grass caravan site
Liked Small campsite with generous size pitches.
Toilet and shower facilities were spotless with a good system in place for covid precautions.
Great to have a water tap at the back of our pitch.

Powered grass site
Liked Good to be given a choice of pitch on arrival.
Liked not having to put up with other peoples children, also meant this site doesn't attract large groups.
The Fish and Chip van visits on a Saturday evening, very handy!
Good location, able to get onto the Castleman cycle trail from the site.
The pitch and putt was great fun.
The toilets and showers were clean and tidy and never too busy.
Disliked Not the fault of the site but the people behind us spent all their time on computer games (very repetitive tinny music late at night and early in the morning, really irritating when you have come to get away from teenagers!!). Perhaps we need to look for an over 40's site next.

From the manager: Thank you so much for the review. Glad you liked the site so much. What a shame about the computer games. We do have a 24 hour wardens line, that if you called we would happily popped over and had a quiet word with the guests. Many thanks
Skegness, Lincolnshire, England
Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked This is a lovely peaceful site. The facilities are spotlessly clean and it was very useful to have the use of a fridge as well.
The surrounding area is perfect for cycling, lovely flat, quiet lanes.
Only a short drive into Skegness for a dose of typical seaside entertainment or to Gibraltar Point for a complete contrast at the nature reserve.
Local pub is only a few minutes walk and also very friendly.
