Liked We had a wonderful stay at The Swallows Rest Campsite.
Perfect location – peaceful, clean, and beautifully maintained. The facilities are amazing, and the staff are so friendly and kind. They even let us arrive and pitch early to avoid the worst of Storm Floris, which was a lovely touch.
The grass is like a soft carpet – our 20-month-old daughter could happily run around barefoot the whole time. A truly relaxing and welcoming place; we can’t wait to come back.

Liked Amazing little gem of a site. June is by far the most welcoming and lovely person I've ever met in nearly 20 years of camping and carvan life. Nothing was to much trouble, she even took the time to apologise about the weather 😅😅.
This was our first trip away with our 5month old. Couldn't have picked a better site. We can't wait to go back.

From the manager: Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us such a lovely review. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay with us. It was lovely to meet you all. Such a shame the weather wasn't better! And we can't wait to welcome you back at any time. (Hopefully, the rain will stay away and the sun will shine!) White House Farm Caravan Site

Liked Small campsite.
Disliked This was our first trip ever in a caravan. We had a bit of a nightmare as the car broke down.
We called to advise we where running behind, the phone line was so bad we could hardly hear them. We arrived pitched up, no hook up as everyone else had used the slots not allocated to them. Went up to farm shop this was sorted quickly.
In the morning we had a recover truck coming to get us home. We went to the shop to advise we where waiting on recovery, we where told that staying past our time would be extra £10 as we are using hook up. We explained that we would be gone with in an hour, and where told if we weren't gone then we would have to pay. There was little compassion or offer of help. Very disappointed. For the £25 Per night, with no showers or on site toilets this is very expensive. We have tented for years and would have expected alot more for the charge.

From the manager: Please bear in mind that we have had horrendous weather recently. The mobile phone signal is nothing to do with us (ee broadband work perfectly 5g) You could have stayed there as long as you would like. however if you was plugged into the electric it is £10 extra. This is completely reasonable as im sure your aware of the electricity prices nowadays. this to me sounds like review bashing of its highest level and i suggest you not to do this as you won't be very liked among caravan sites.
