Tintagel, Cornwall, England
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked Firstly, the site is a good sized open field with access to water outside and in the main hut at the entrance.
Shower was hot and the toilet blocks very clean.
Sally was very good in communicating the day before via text and coming around the site to check you in.
Set up where you like and just respect the rules.
Dog friendly, dogs kept on lead.
Amazing view of the sea!
Disliked Nothing to dislike if you like camping.

Aysgarth, North Yorkshire, England
Powered grass tent site
Liked Tidy and well kept pitches, clearly marked.
Clean toilets and facilities
Easy to book and use
Great location with plenty to do around
Dog friendly but there are a LOT of rabbits.
Had no trouble or noise problems.
Easy greeting and map given for clear instructions of what is where.
Disliked Communication was a little poor, emailed during stay to no response. Wasn't urgent.
Bins were untidy and weren't well marked but were at the entrance so barely noticed.
Needed mops in shower/toilets to help keep them tidy as after a shower would have been handy to mop any water before getting dressed. But were 100% tidy during stay.

Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, England
Unpowered grass site
Liked Showers has good pressure and heat to them, space around the site was good and access was easy. Set up was easy to. Polite staff on arrival. Dog friendly and was really easy with no problems with other dogs or anyone breaking rules.
Disliked Shower room by the tent pitch site could do with a soap caddy or something for bottles etc whilst in Shower as bending down a bit awkward with space.
Was a bit of a mess when was there with freshly cut trees everywhere and piles of leaves and branches but I can imagine generally a tidy site. Good to see its kept on top of with felling dead or falling trees.

From the manager: Thanks for your review Nathan. Essential tree work is soon to be completed.
Buxton, Derbyshire, England
Power optional grass site
Liked Warm and well pressured showers
Great location
Beautiful site for a gorgeous winter sunrise
Very welcoming
Dog friendly
Disliked Parking arrangements in winter. My car got very cold in recommended spot (grass was too muddy for parking on) and when I went to drive it the next day it had check engine etc. Fine after a but of running. (Not an old car either).
Breed of dogs mattered. Had to ring to ask why a staffy cross who's always on lead couldn't come. No real reason other than read bad things online. Would recommend that the site is dogs on lead only.
