Llangollen, Denbighshire, Wales
Fully-serviced concrete and grass caravan site
Liked Everything, warm welcome, heated clean modern facilities & shower block, on pitch water & grey waste disposal. Flat pitches with beautiful views. Easy walk into Llangollen for food or access to canal or river. One of the best sites we have visited, the owners obviously take a pride in all aspects of the site & surroundings.
Disliked Note there is no WiFi & TV signal is difficult I have a simple satellite system so not a problem, phone signal fine. Beyond that nothing.

Barmouth, Gwynedd, Wales
Powered concrete and grass motorhome site
Liked We were happy with the pitch provided as it was flat & central to main services, there was a water tap specifically for the pitch similar with electrical hookup. All of the hard standings appeared to be level also the grass ones looked firm & flat. Have to say the staff work hard to make the site look nice with the gardened areas a picture.
Disliked The showers were a little dated & tired but functional & hot, a little heat around shower room would not come amiss. Also the grey water disposal can be a trek from some pitches, but these are not major issues.

Powered concrete slab caravan site
Liked The site has easy access & generous sized flat pitches. Plenty local walks with no requirement for a car with even more within short driving distance.
Disliked Nothing in particular to dislike although some road noise at weekends due to popularity with motorcyclists.

Abersoch, Gwynedd, Wales
Power optional concrete slab motorhome site
Liked Clean well appointed site, the owners take a real pride in ensuring your stay is a pleasant experience. The showers & toilets are spotlessly clean with hot water assured.
There is a nice walk into Abersoch via a path to be found adjacent to the chapel, this then takes you across the golf course or onto the beach into town.
Plenty of walks to be had on the coastal path in both directions, good walk on a nice day is to Llanengan on easy footpaths towards Hells Mouth beach then right on a bridleway to the Sun Inn for a real ale, can recommend the steak & ale pie if you are hungry.

Maryport, Cumbria, England
Powered gravel caravan site
Liked Unusual location in a good way as it directly overlooks the marina. Nice level pitches with easy access with water adjacent, toilets & showers spotless. Interesting walks around harbour area where impressive sunsets can be viewed from the elevated sea wall. Pleasant walk along promenade with access to Roman museum which is well worth a visit. The town centre of Maryport is somewhat run down which is a real shame as generally the area has a lot to offer.

Sheringham, Norfolk, England
Powered concrete slab motorhome site
Liked Super little site, clean & tidy with every facility you would wish for at a CL. No toilets or showers but not an issue for a modern motorhome. Level pitches & the use of an extremely pretty garden. If you are a walker plenty of opportunities straight off site with various options into Sheringham & the coast.
Disliked The road off site is quite dangerous & busy with extreme caution required especially as a pedestrian, although the road noise is mitigated by gates & the garden it is still intrusive, barring that this would be a five * rating
