Unpowered grass and earth caravan site
Liked Very friendly. Great view. Peaceful. Well kept, mown grass, flat pitches. Excellent shower, although shower head needs descaling! Compost loo clean and love the 'wee bale'. Kitchen area under cover and well stocked. Firepits available to use. Short flat cycle along old railway line into Blandford Forum, and plenty of other bridleways and footpaths in the area. We would definitely stay again! Note there is no chemical toilet waste disposal.

Liked Shower and toilets were clean
Disliked Felt crowded and exposed. Semi-permanent vans parked there looked a bit derelict. Very large site.

Unpowered concrete and grass caravan site
Liked This was our second stay!! Very friendly and well kept site, range of hardstanding and field pitches. Plenty of room. Firepits provided. Great showers and composting toilets. Secure site. Close to town and bridleways. It is by a road, but the pitches are well screened and I did not notice the road overnight at all.

Unpowered grass campervan, tent or trailer tent site
Liked Plenty of space. Level pitch. Nice views. Well organised and well kept site. Facilities were clean and showers were good. 15 min walk to a beautiful beach.
Disliked 3 toilets and 3 showers are not enough when the site is busy. Consider a couple of portaloos in the field for the summer?
