Liked I think this was the best grass pitch I ever been to, flat and thick grass very nice. Very quiet. Pub close. Very cheap. Very helpful host (over the phone as not at the location)
Disliked We came with twin axle caravan and it was tight, contact owner before you arrive with caravan. Toilet not great but ok for a day, not cleaned daily for sure. Shower not clean not nice (we skipped that as only stayed for one day). If I had it booked for more than one day I would be looking for something different in the area. Good condition of toilet and shower is a must for me with small kids.

Liked It's a very good campsite with location that is absolutely wiping most campsites in Uk, showers are good toilets are clean. Hosts are very helpful and welcoming.
Disliked No playground for kids, there should be big wooden playground in the middle of campsite, but as the site is just newly reopened maybe the owners will have this planned for next year.

Liked Location is amazing!
Hosts are very nice and helpful!
Walks are spectacular!
Close to children attractions!
Playground good but to far from pitches!
We have enjoyed our stay!
Disliked WiFi is really bad, for rainy days you need your own network for sure and 4G is not generous due to mountains.
Something that was really bad and needs improving is laundry facilities, I understand you have to pay to do it no problem but equipment is very outdated, £5 for a 40 min wash and whopping £8 for dryer with still wet clothes! Just don’t bother drive down to shell garage and use proper facilities.

From the manager: Thanks for your feedback. Re the laundry, the prices have not changed for 4 years. We use the machines almost everyday for our laundry from our accommodation units, and find them efficient. Like all driers it depends what you put in them so an entire load of washing from the machine will take a long time to dry, but if its done in part then it will dry quickly. As for the WiFi once people start to stream or use on line gaming then yes the service deteriorates. We do use Starlink since fibre is still not an option for us. Regards Len
